Signed oversized vintage matte-finish photograph, shows Cedric Hardwicke in a costume portrait as Julius Caesar, 10 x 13 inch, signed and inscribed in dark fountain pen "To - Walter Alfred - with gratitude - Cedric Hardwicke - 1950 - National Theatre - April 1950", matted to an overall size of 14 x 18 inch, right edge bears a black ink notation from the famous Vandamm studio, signature and inscription quite light but legible and some edge chipping to mat - in fine condition. In April 1950, Hardwicke was starring in George Bernard Shaw`s play Caesar and Cleopatra.
