Autographed letter signed, one page, 4,5 x 6 inch, 27.02.1895, in French, to his editors Fasquelles and Charpentier - Verlaine mandates Eugenie Krantz to take the returned books of his `choix de poesies`, written and signed in black ink "Paul Verlaine", mounted (removable) for display with a photograph, shows Verlaine in a head and shoulders portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), a horizontal letter fold with a small tear (0,25 inch) to the left edge and a few small stains and mild creases – in fine condition.
