In parts: "... With regard to the Monday Club, it sometimes tends to be rather extreme in its reactions and I do not believe that extremists of any kind do the Party much good. You know I myself believe in taking a moderate line because I am sure this is best in the end for everyone. I think I would step a little warily if I were you..." * The Conservative Monday Club (usually known as the Monday Club) is a British political pressure group, aligned with the Conservative Party, though no longer endorsed by it.
