Letter signed, one page - with address and royal wax seal on the reverse of a second conjoined sheet, 8 x 12,25 inch, 22.03.1687, in Italian, untranslated, to the Grand Master of the Order of Saint George Giovanni Andrea Angelo Glauco Comneno - John III Sobieski expresses his heartfelt condolences for the loss of Comneno`s brother, caused by "a fatal accident", signed (with the Italianized name) in black ink "Giovanni Re.", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of John III Sobieski (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with three horizontal letter folds, and browning - in fine condition.
