Signed check - `The First National Bank of Boston`, 6,5 x 2,75 inch, Havana - Cuba, 14.05.1957, completely filled out and signed in full by Ernest Hemingway in blue ink, made out to `Roberto Herrera`* - amount of 30 USD, attractively mounted (removable) for display with a vintage sepia tone photograph (circa 1960-1961) of Ernest Hemingway ringside at a bullfight and a photograph of Hemingway on a coast (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with punch cancellation and black cancellation stamp & vintage photograph with signs of wear - in fine condition. Accompanied by the original envelope. * In the 40s and 50s Roberto Herrera Sotolongo belongs to the very close circle of friends of the Hemingways in Cuba.
