J. - resonding to Green`s solicitation of a letter offering his pupils life guidance, signed in black ink "R. A. Millikan" - with an addition in Millikan`s hand, with intersecting letter folds, a few small stains to the upper left corner, and mild creases to the upper edge - in fine condition. "Dear Mr. Green: I feel deeply touched being chosen as a sort of guardian by one of your groups `of students` who are aiming to fit themselves in the best possible way for useful citizenship.
