Handwritten manuscript signed, 1 1/3 pages (both sides), 8,5 x 11 inch, (27.10.1977), entitled `Research on the Transactinide Elements` - with numerous amendments, written and signed by Glenn Theodore Seaborg in dark ballpoint ink "Glenn T. Seaborg", with three horizontal letter folds and very mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition. In parts: "The transactinide elements begin with element 104, the first element beyond lawrencium (no. 103) the heaviest actinide element, and extend in principle, indefinitely. The method of production is bombardement of target nuclei with heavy ions and successful synthesis beyond these presently known (up to 106 or 107) ..."
