Autograph letter signed, five pages (four on two conjoined sheets) & one card (fifth page), 5,5 x 8,5 & 5,5 x 4,25 (card) inch, `The Ritz Carlton` stationery, (New York), (15.09.1987), to Robert Osborne (1932-2017) - inter alia concerning his value to a show on a movie channell (probably `Turner Classic Movies`) and the meaning of `To-morrow`, written and signed in black felt tip - with a few added smiley-sketches, with central horizontal letter folds - in nearly very fine condition. Accompanied by an envelope (with another smiley sketch) and a beautiful chest-up photograph (unsigned) of Bette Davis, 8 x 10 inch. Comes from the personal collection of Robert Osborne, then by the descent through the family of Robert Osborne. In parts: "...Felt very close to you yesterday when you brought your movie channell boss to meet me. Feel very close to you a lot of the time. (...) Your boss certainly (movie channell) most assuredly knows your value to his show, that pleases me. (...) Today the word `To-morrow` certainly warms my heart. - love - Spuds"
