Autograph letter signed, one page, 4,5 x 7 inch, `Undershaw` stationery, Haslemere (England), to an unnamed gentleman - concerning a communal meal, written and signed in dark ink "Arthur Conan Doyle", attractively mounted (removable) with a chest-up portrait of Arthur Conan Doyle (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with intersecting letter folds, and slightly faded - in fine condition. "Dear Sir I shall be happy to dine with you. I think perhaps I had better stay at the Hotel but I am much indepted to you all the same."
