Autographed letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 7,5 inch, Nohant, 30.08.1854, in French, to an unknown poet - with interesting content about verses and poets, written, dated and signed in dark fountain pen "George Sand", mounted for fine display with a picture, shows George Sand in a half length portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with a horizontal letter folds and scattered small stains - in fine to very fine condition. In parts (translated): "Your verses seem beautiful to me, but don`t consider me a judge. Seems like I am often wrong. I don`t know how to make verses..."
