Autograph letter signed, one page, 8,5 x 10,5 inch, Rome, 14.04.1963, in slightly inferior French, reply letter to Mr. Leitmann - concerning the exhibition of his artworks*, written and signed in blue ballpoint ink "A. Archipenko", attractivelly mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Alexander Archipenko as sculptor (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with a central horizontal letter fold, and very mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition. "Cher Mr. Leitmann, J`aire recu aussi votre second lettre et, je pense que jusque present vous aves deja recu ma lettre de Apr. 6. envoye de Rome, aussi une catalogue. J`ai vous trouveres une copie. Je vous prie, cher monsieur de me repondre par le retour de courier (par avion), car je partire pour Grece April le 22. Avant mon depart je suis aublige de doner mon reponse pour des autres pays qui desir d`expose mes oeuvres. Encor je vous prie de conservé nos conditions verbales car j`avais deja comte d`exposerchez vous en deux sections. J`aures des complications en enlevant une part des oeuvres. Before my departure I am obliged to give my answer for other countries who wish to exhibit my works. Again I ask you to keep our verbal conditions because I already intended to exhibit at yours in two sections. I have complications by removing a part of the artworks.
