He is best known for his time in WWE as a member of the stable "The League of Nations". He is also known for his time in the independent circuit, where he wrestled for promotions such as Chikara, Combat Zone Wrestling, and Ring of Honor.

Ricardo started training to become a professional wrestler in 2001. He was trained by his uncle, who was a wrestler himself.
