Autographed letter signed, 1 1/2 pages, 5,5 x 8,75 inch, on the blue printed stationery of `Societe de Artistes Intependants` of which Signac was President, (Paris), (12.02.1911), in French, to novelist Victor Joze (1863-1933) - Paul Signac wants to settle a debt with an auarelle and 50 Franc, written and signed in dark ink, with a horizontal letter fold and scattered mild creases and small stains - in fine condition. Accompanied by the orginal envelope. "Ah ! bien est-elle bonne celle-la, cher ami. Et je suis tres emu, croyez-le, de cette bonne pensee. Je n`ai pas retrouve le billet Poirel. - Voulez-vous me permettre, a la place, de vous adresser - par Germaine par example, un jour - une petite feuille de papier avec un peu d`aquarelle dessus! Je vous accuse donc reception de ces 50 f - pour solde de tout compte. Au revoir, mon cher ami des temps deja anciens; ah ! jeunesse ! Bien cordialement P. Signac"
