Signed vintage colour glossy candid photograph, shows Albert Einstein surrounded by bookcases in what appears to be his study, 5,25 x 7,25 inch, 1950, signed and dated in the lower border in blue fountain pen "A. Einstein `50", the image and still-legible signature are both somewhat faded - in fine condition, mounted for fine display with another (unsigned) photograph of Albert Einstein (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch). In 1950, Einstin published an article in Scientific American entitled `On the Generalized Theory of Gravitation`, describing his pursuit of a `unified field theory` - a field of study that remains active today.
